摘要: We consider the initial-boundary value problem for an incompressible Oldroyd-B model with

 stress diffusion in two-dimensional upper half plane which describes the motion of viscoelastic

 polymeric fluids. From the physical point of view, the diffusive coefficient is several orders

 of magnitude smaller than other parameters in the model, and it is usually assumed to be zero. 

In this talk, we provide a rigorous justification for the vanishing diffusion.

报告人简介：温焕尧，男，华南理工大学数学学院教授、博士生导师、院长。目前兼任广东省数学会副理事长、

广东省政协委员、广东省青年科学家协会副会长、华南理工大学侨联主席等。主要从事流体力学中的偏微分方

程的数学理论研究。研究成果发表在Adv. Math.、Arch. Rational Mech. Anal.、CVPDEs、J. Functional 

Analysis、J. Math. Pures Appl.等期刊。先后主持国家自然科学基金青年项目、面上项目和优秀青年科学基

金项目共4项，获广东省科学技术奖-青年科技创新奖、教育部自然科学奖一等奖（第二完成人）、广东省自然

科学奖一等奖（第三完成人）。2016-2019年获聘广东省青年珠江学者。
